Yesterday morning Mommy went in for her bone marrow biopsy.
The actual procedure went well. I still get a little squeamish when I see it happening, but Mommy always handles it VERY, VERY well. She is a brave one!
Before her bone marrow biopsy they also did a blood test. Good news is that her hemoglobin and white blood count increased from her last blood test. However, her platelets went down. Getting this bone marrow biopsy will let us know if there is any major concern.
Mommy is scheduled for her regular appointment with her oncologist next Wednesday (November 19th). We expect that the results of the test will be reviewed during that appointment.
Please pray for peace as we wait for the results. And, for the results to have no cause for concern.
