Prayer Request

Would you all please pray for my mother, Lorlina?
My mom hadn’t been feeling well for about a month. Today she was asked by her primary doctor to see a hematologist as soon as immediately possible because of her incredibly low blood (hemoglobin) levels. The hematologist did some initial tests and based on what he saw he has given an initial diagnosis of acute leukemia.
She has just been admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital (likely for the weekend) for blood transfusions to get her blood levels back up. It’s expected that she will be transferred from St. Mary’s to UPENN to begin treatment for the leukemia next week. While diagnosis needs to be verified, the possible initial treatment would be inpatient chemotherapy for one month.
Please pray for His healing touch to be over her. The priority at this point is improvement in her blood levels. Pray for the transfusions to be successful and clean.
We’ve all just had the flu too so pray for energy and strength as we care for each other.
(I received word this week that 100% of my financial support has been committed. This is what’s needed for the okay to begin my move to Manila. As you can imagine… I’m feeling doubtful that I’ll even make plans to leave until some of all this sorts out some. Please pray for wisdom, God’s timing and TRUST in the midst of all this).
THANKS for praying!!
