Coming to you LIVE from...

Saint Mary Medical Center.

Yes, we're here again. Mommy had her regular blood test yesterday morning. Yay!! Her blood counts are creeping up as we've been hoping to see. Her WBC and Absolute Neutrophils are at "Normal" levels so she is no longer neutropenic. Mommy celebrated by having raw fruits and vegetables - a nice crisp apple and some sweet white corn.

However, her platelets dropped back down from 40,000 to 20,000 and her hemoglobin was down to 8.1. So she's camped out at the Saint Mary Infusion room scheduled to receive 1 unit of platelets and 2 units of blood. It will likely take the whole day.

Pray that the transfusions go well -- no reactions and always that the blood products she's receiving are good and clean.

Tomorrow she has her appointment with her oncologist at Penn Tower. They'll review how she's been since the last treatment, her blood work and we expect that they'll schedule her next stay HUP.

Last week Mommy received a number of cards in the mail and a beautiful gift from a church member. Knit lovingly by hand and with sweet prayers she now has a beautiful blanket that she plans to take with her to the hospital next week. As always, we continue to be thankful for your love, prayers and encouragement. God is surrounding us with His presence and peace -- and giving His strength for each new day.
