Our family has never subscribed to cable. We grew up with regular network TV channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS, etc.) We still have rabbit ears on our TV that we have to adjust to get even those channels in clear.While we're here, we don't even get those channels! TV isn't free in the rooms. If you want to watch something other than ABC Family, The Weather Channel and a couple of HUP channels, you have to pay $8 a day!
We've been enjoying old episodes of TV shows on the web and watching DVDs on the computer. Thanks to the techno-saavy wisdom of my friends, Heather and Jeff, I'll likely buy a converter so we can watch TV from our computer.
Have to figure it out soon... "The Office" comes back on April 10th. And, we've already missed an elimination on "American Idol." (hee-hee!)
