Last Friday my dad had work to do in Harrisburg so he dropped my mother and I off at Cindy's dorm so we could have a short visit with her.Cindy (among other things) is such a creative, crafty, and artsy woman. She gave my mom the gift of her care and creativity in a bunch of caps that she sent home with her during our most recent visit to Messiah.
On the days that my mom is not receiving chemo during this week, the doctor has been encouraging us to "go out and do something fun." Pretty much he's telling us that now is the time to do it as next week is when she'll likely not feel well.
So, my mom and I enjoyed a nice walk around the University of Pennsylvania campus on a somewhat cool May day. Cindy's cap was perfect for the occassion!We found a great tea house / restaurant -- The Bubble House where we enjoyed some yummy drinks.
