Around 8 pm Mommy was re-admitted to HUP to begin her first round of consolidation therapy.
Preparing for the stay in the hospital this go round was different since we knew it was happening and we had an idea as to what to expect! We knew what she would need, what she'd want and had an idea of what the place would be like.
This time Mommy's on Rhoads 3 - Room 3009. It's a double. Since we got in somewhat late, we still haven't really met her roomie.
When we got in they did the routine interrogation and probing.
This evening she'll begin the week long chemotherapy. Every 12 hours she'll be getting cytarabine with a day break in between. So she'll get a dose tonight, tomorrow morning, Wednesday night, Thursday morning, Saturday night, Sunday morning and hopefully she'll be able to leave Sunday afternoon / evening (I think I have that right...)
Please continue to pray as she goes through these treatments. Pray that this week she'll have good rest even with all of the routine hospital disturbances (her room is right by the floor's desk), pray for minimal side effects, pray for His strength, peace and comfort to continue to sustain her.
