Life on Rhoads 3: TV (aka beating the system!)

So, when we found out that we'd be back in the hospital, we decided that we'd bring our tv to see if we could beat the $8 / day charge to get TV services.

When we arrived in the hospital last night we carried our tiny, little TV in (hidden under a blanket) and hoped that the little antenna would pick up some channels.

I hooked up my dad's portable DVD player to the TV so we can watch some movies.

After a little maneuvering of the antennas...yay!!! We got some channels that came through as more than just static.

It's not all the channels, but we do have FOX tonight -- meaning... we can watch American Idol!!

I'm pretty sure I'm voting for David Cook and my mom is voting for David Archuletta. We'll see if either of us changes our minds before the night is over! :)

NOTE: The hospital does only charge for a maximum of 14 days, but since we're only in for about 5 consecutive days, that deal doesn't work for us anymore!
