Please pray that the pain will lessen and that there are no complications from the surgery / port. Pray especially that she can manage to still get a good night's sleep.
Tonight they plan to start her on her next dose of chemo for the week. She'll get her next dose tomorrow mid-morning.
Overall, it's been a good week this week. She's been handling the chemo very well. There haven't really been any side effects from the chemo at all.
Mostly, the thing she's been having a little bit of a challenge with is her blood pressure. Her blood pressure has been very low at times. Since her admission to the hospital last time this has been something her doctors and her have been continually working on. They are trying to get the right adjustment of blood pressure meds for her right now.
Pray that as she continues to go through treatment that doctors will continue to have wisdom as to how to treat her leukemia and also how to continue to maintain regular care of her other medical conditions (diabetes and high blood pressure) alongside of the leukemia treatment and that we can continue to maintain it during her off-treatment periods.
We continue to be grateful to God for the care that Mommy has been receiving and how well things have been going.
