Family has been such a blessing during this time. From the start of her time in the hospital, Mommy's sisters have come to stay with her. Traveling from Florida, Texas and Philadelphia... they each came and helped care for her ...and my dad and I.They showed love, care and support in countless ways...
* Spending time with us in the hospital.
* Helping my mom shower when it was needed.
* Cooking meals.
* Doing laundry.
* Cleaning house (or hospital).
* Cutting and eventually shaving her hair.
* Helping navigate insurance.
* Walking the loops on the floor to encourage exercise.
* Sleeping on a "not so comfy" cot!
* Leaving family, home and work to be here with us.
What a blessing!
